Street Photography / More with the Fuji X100
I headed up to Manchester a while ago for a few days and took with me the Fuji X100, my aim here was to get some more street photography done, all the while improving my skills and seeing what interesting characters I could capture. This along with many other trips where I took to the streets has prompted me to post another blog about using the Fuji X100 for street photography as well as having loads of images for you guys to look at.
I decided to stick with my usual street setup of manual focus + aperture priority, I still feel this setup gives me the quickest way of shooting so I can react to situations and get the shot, this being said I still technically 'miss' shots with some mis-focused or blurry ones but these often find their way into my favourites adding more to the mantra of; moment is more important than technique.
I've been tempted recently to upgrade to the X100S or been the new uber-hybrid-viewfinder X100T but really I feel this camera still does it for me, maybe one day I'll upgrade, but for now this camera rocks so I'll keep rocking this camera.
I've decided to keep this post image heavy so feel free to start scrolling and seeing what I've been up to, also feel free to comment at the bottom if you are using a Fuji for street photography as I'd love to see what you are up to!
Cheers,
Col-
