☀️ The sun was OUT for this one!

We’re so glad we chose Colin as our wedding photographer! We planned a big but relaxed wedding and while we had some group photos in mind it was also important to us that we capture spontaneous moments. Colin’s documentary style was a perfect fit. He was a great presence on the day, keeping everything very relaxed and fun. The photos are excellent – thank you!

Back at the start of May 2022 I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Maggie + Tim’s Broadfield Court wedding in the lovely Herefordshire countryside.

The day got underway with bridal prep in the morning, coffee in hand I got to work grabbing shots of the family getting ready in the morning and all of those little wedding details that make up the day.

Soon, it was time to drive over to Broadfield Court to meet Tim and the rest of the guests for a sunny outdoor wedding on the lawn. Safe to say I was glad I remembered to pack sunscreen and while the bright sun can bring challenges when photographing I’d much rather everyone be outside and lapping up those rays!

Maggie + Tim did an amazing (in fact best I've ever seen) job with the garden games, featuring something around 10 different games which is always great for wedding photography.

The day moved on with food, speeches, dancing, and a few relaxed couples portraits around the stunning grounds of Broadfield Court. Before long it was time to say goodbye, head home, and back up my images before bed.

The wedding was shot on a mix of my usual gear < as well as the new-ish 33mm Fuji lens which I’m enjoying more and more as I shoot with it. (More on that lens coming soon!)
