Alice + Shaun - The Globe ay Hay Wedding Photography

Driving over towards the historic book town of Hay-on-Wye I was thinking how great it is to live in such a beautiful county with which to host a wedding, before long I pulled up in the Hay car park and unpacked my gear in the blazing sun.

Alice and Shaun held their wedding at The Globe in Hay, a small arts center that also hosts weddings with great garden space. I wasn’t shooting bridal prep for this day so I started here with photos of the guys and waited till the bride arrived in her dad’s old Austin Van.

After the ceremony, everyone headed outside for drinks (mainly Corona beer) a few garden games, and a couple of formal shots, soon after everyone headed inside for food and speeches.

The evening party was all held outside and the weather was stunning, lots of food, drinks, dancing, and games meant the night was full of great opportunities for great photos, before long the day was over nad I headed back to the car.
