Emma + Stephen - Stourbridge Wedding Photography

Confetti goodness!

Confetti goodness!

Back in September '16 I headed up to Stourbridge for the slightly wet, but nevertheless really fun wedding of Emma and Stephen.

Our day started at the house with hair and makeup accompanied by a very energetic little dog who made us all fully aware when there was someone new at the door, the morning rolled on and soon everyone was ready so we all headed out to the Dudley Registry office.

The rain carried on so it was umbrellas out, I got a few shots of the cars arriving before retreating into the dry inside. After a few shots of Stephen waiting in the rather nice room at the registry office my shooting had to stop for the service.

It's always a shame when I'm not permitted to take any photos of the ceremony, sitting at the back I just had to wait patiently on, once the ceremony was over I was allowed to do a few mock shots in the room and while this normally isn't my sort of thing it was indeed better than nothing.

The day moved on and we headed to the reception, the rain started to slow and everyone cracked on with a few drinks before heading to the wedding breakfast.

Luckily the skies cleared and the ground dried out a bit so we managed to get outside to throw a bit of confetti and do a few group shots, after which the evening came about and was gate crashed by Emma's workmates in full Hen-do attire after she chose to not have a pre wedding send off, needles to say this made for some fun shooting.

Overall the day was shot with my old gear, 23/56mm combo on the XE-2's with a few bits done on the X100T.
