London Street Photography - Fuji X100 pt. 2
Part two of this blog goes over my second day in London and how I got on with the things I learnt the day before, if you haven't seen it yet do check out part one.
So for my second day I started by heading to Tower Bridge which was a short walk from my AirBnb, but I got stopped on the way as the road was closed for filming of Top Gear [Which I didn't know at the time] so after hanging round for a bit and getting some shots of the car I went over the bridge and stared waking up towards Westminster along the bank.
The day started off very dark and misty but it was due to clear up which is what I was hoping for when I went up the Shard, I decided to do this first thing which was a good idea, it got crazy busy, the view wasn't the best but still worth doing if your there. Oh and the Lightroom 'Dehaze' filter is your friend when it's this misty.
As I made my way along the bank and through Borough market [great spot by the way] the weather got much clearer and the people came out. I then headed over Westminster bridge getting some shots of people showing their wares and then up and over the Piccadilly Circus.
The skills I learnt the day before came in very handy on this day, I stuck to getting shots isolating people or single subjects as a rough theme and can say I'm very happy with where the work is heading.
Most of the day was spent walking and shooting and below are the results, feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Cheers, Col-
