I met Joe and Nelle last year where we started talking about their plans for a home made wedding at Nelle's parents house in the awesome Herefordshire countryside, as soon as I heard their plans I knew this was going to be a great wedding.
We started the day where it would end for a bit of bridal prep, including some shots of the entire family chipping in and getting the food ready for the wedding. The best part of this wedding was by far the generous and incredible talents of all who made it a a great day, I'll go into detail a bit more below.
We then hightailed it to Shobdon Church, which from the outside is a small unassuming church, but inside is bright white decor which is incredible to a photographer (lots of nice clean light!) After we headed outside for confetti and a few family shots, then into the wedding Saab (awesome choice of car) back to the farm for the reception in the marquee.
The evening saw some piñata smashing, cracking speeches, garden games, pizza and cigars a plenty, drinks and dancing saw the evening roll in headed up by a great band and some killer moves on the dance floor.
This wedding was just stunning, so relaxing and a joy to shoot, as always I went in with my two X-E2's + 23/56mm combo and rocked that all day, I started bright and early getting shots of the food being prepared and everyone setting up, for me this is as big a part of the day as any and a real important time to capture.
