Days out with the Fuji X100 / My Travel Camera
At the beginning of the year it's safe to say many wedding photographers have a void, with few weddings to shoot and a big gap before the summer season kicks in it can feel like a long time between shooting paid assignments. Because of this I try to get out when I can with my X100 and just grab some shots, nothing too thought out just getting outside and shooting, after all sitting in front of a computer all day answering emails can drive you kind of crazy.
So far my year is going well, I have a good number of weddings on the books with a few enquires and weddings for next year to sort out which is great, I'm starting new projects and really trying to fill up my calendar with work to keep me busy. One of the aspects of my business which I've worked hard on is to make things as quick and easy as possible, this gives me more time overall which is great but I'm trying to use this to build other aspects of my business and my personal work.
Gear wise I've not yet got anything new to review, I was tempted to get a 23mm lens to give it a go [which I did do, blog post coming soon] and see if I get on well with it.
So thats how things are looking at the moment, here are some shots from out and about with the Fuji X100, hope you enjoy.
Cheers, Col-
