Street Photography / Fuji X100
Time for another street photography post, as always I've been out with my trusty fuji X100 grabbing candid photos of people on the street and the odd portrait, all in all this is another blog which highlights how good the X100 is for street photography and just how much I love using it.
You can find other articles on the X100 on the blog, I've got a short tips and tricks for street photography and another photo heavy post of my work.
I always try to get out with the camera when I can, it's a great way to clear your head, get fresh air and to sort some time away from the computer and in the real world, as a wedding photographer I can spend a lot of time editing, blogging and general work on the computer, it's important to mix it up. Another reason for getting out on the street is the way it improves all other aspects of my work, espiecially with my wedding photography work, where looking for moments and being discreet is what I'm all about.
I'll keep this post quite short on the writing side and heavy on the image side, all of these have been shot in RAW and then processed using the VSCO packs in Lightroom [mainly Kodak Portra VC ++, freaking love this preset] -or- if I'm out and about, transferred via cable to my iPad, then edited in VSCOcam.
I'm also looking into doing street photography workshops so if anyone is interested do let me know as I'll be running the first one for free with about 4-5 guests, more on this soon!
Cheers, and here are links to more of my street photography work with the Fuji X100:
